Congratulations, Kat Von D! The renowned star, known for her tattoos, beauty businesses and television personality, as well as animal activism, is getting married. Instead of accepting gifts, she’s urging wedding guests to Donate money to the vegan charity, Animal Equality.
Kat Von D is set to tie the knot with boyfriend Leafer Seyer, who shares her appreciation for all things dark and vegan. Kat posted on Instagram, “I are so excited to be having the most epic #vegan wedding of all time! We love the idea of showing the world that you don’t have to sacrifice luxury/quality by choosing not to exploit animals in any way.”
Her resume is nothing short of amazing, and her compassion toward the Earth and animals is equally as impressive. She was vegetarian for years before she became vegan after stumbling upon the documentary, Forks Over Knives. As many people do after the watch this, she changed and never looked back. Her beauty brand, Kat Von D Beauty, has also gone introduced vegan products like fur-free brushes and contour palettes.
Although the couple actually tied the knot earlier this year, they’re preparing to have their official reception, where we are sure they’ll be tons and tons of elegant and exceptional vegan desserts, a fantastic gown, and black roses. They’re wedding date on is coming up this summer.
