The famous Impossible Burger, currently available in 5,000 restaurants, including fast-food giant White Castle, is now set to arrive in grocery stores this September! Keep following the story online to get all the details, and before you know it you’ll be able to whip up an Impossible Burger in the comfort of your own home. Impossible Foods’ CEO and founder Dr. Patrick Brown, previously a Stanford biochemistry professor, explains that “the secret to Impossible’s meat is heme, a molecule found in hemoglobin (a part of blood). Impossible burgers “bleed” with the stuff — no animals needed — thanks to a heme protein naturally found in soy and fermented by the company.”

This spectacular plant-based burger may not taste exactly like ground beef, but it still has a delicious flavor and crunchy coating due to the coconut oil it contains. It also boasts 20 grams of protein per patty, making it a filling and tasty addition to your grill. It also has a much smaller environmental footprint, not to mention a lack of hormones and antibiotics.
