Hysterical “Pet of the Week” Ceremony Goes Viral on TikTok

  A hilarious TikTok video showing one family’s impromptu “Pet of the Week” ceremony is going viral on the platform. Posted to account @thevetnursecurse, the video shows the impromptu award along with narration .

  In the video, all the household’s pets can be seen gathered in one room. The three dogs and three cats attentively watch their human as he explains the decision making process behind the award. All three dogs are gently let down, before he moves onto the cats. In the end, the winner is cat Remus. Although he slept through his award ceremony, his mellow attitude ultimately secured his victory.

  Viewers loved the video, which has been liked over 381,000 times. “I promise you, this is literally my favorite TikTok EVER.” wrote @curvykween. Due to high demand, the humans involved have decided that they will continue to make “Pet of the Week” ceremony videos. Many viewers are rooting for Taquito and Nugget as the next recipients.
