Even With a Wounded Leg, This Dog Still Wouldn’t Stop Wagging His Tail as Rescuers Help Him (VIDEO)

Guardians of the Voiceless was recently called to help a dog that was in an accident which left him with a badly injured paw. Salu, the unfortunate pup, was one of the dogs under the care of a kind soul who was looking after stray dogs in the area. When the rescuers arrived at the spot, they found out from the carer that poor Salu was hiding inside a shop because of how scared and anxious he was.

Luckily, the Guardians team knew just what to do! The pup was given painkillers, his wound was thoroughly cleaned, and he got antibiotics to prevent infection. But the injury itself, involving a compound fracture, turned out to be so severe that the dog will have to be taken to Ludhiana University Hospital where his condition will be fully evaluated.

Even though the pain from the broken paw must have been horrific, Salu kept on wagging his tail! Incredibly sweet and calm throughout all the procedure, he was letting the Guardians do whatever was necessary to help with the wound. Salu is being taken care of by his many wonderful friends and he will be now treated until his leg heals completely and he is fully himself again.
