Neighbors in Meriwether County, Georgia, are forced to walk past a fence lined with the bodies of dead coyotes every single day. The animals were killed and deliberately hung on public display. Authorities say no laws were broken because coyotes are not a protected species in Georgia and the display sits on private property. But legal does not mean right.
Coyotes are essential to healthy ecosystems. They regulate prey populations and keep the natural world in balance. Normalizing this kind of cruelty sends a dangerous message: that wildlife can allegedly be killed and displayed without consequence. This behavior must be challenged. Sign the petition now and demand officials find a way to stop it. Every signature matters. Stand up for these animals and sign the petition now.
