In Greenville, South Carolina, video evidence has exposed something unforgivable. The owners of Corner Pet Grooming were allegedly caught on camera repeatedly beating dogs in their care. In one footage, a tiny Shih Tzu suspended in a grooming harness was allegedly punched three times and had its paw bent backwards. Another clip allegedly shows the female owner grabbing a dog by the face and shoving it, with authorities describing the way its neck snapped back as “unnatural and unsafe.” The male owner was also allegedly filmed punching a dog in the ribs and across its back.
Both owners have since been arrested. The petition, which has already gathered over 44,000 signatures toward a 45,000 goal, urges Greenville officials to permanently shut down Corner Pet Grooming and ban both individuals from ever working with animals again. These animals had no way to escape. Sign the petition now and demand that local authorities act. Vulnerable animals deserve protection, not punishment. Sign the petition now.
