Adorable Video Shows Pleased Dog with Unusual New Toy

As many dog lovers can attest, canines are capable of forming strong attachments to their favorite toys. Whether that is a ball, a squeaky toy, or something more unusual, studies have shown that dogs do indeed have a significant interest in new objects. One TikTok video highlights the hilarious things that dogs sometimes choose to fall in love with. The video shows a pleased dog and their unusual new toy, a Squishmallow.

Squishmallows are round, soft toys that were launched in 2017 by the brand Kelly Toys Holdings, LLC. Over the past few months, they have become popular on the internet. Squishmallows are available in many different patterns and shapes. 

While browsing a garage sale alongside his human, an adorable pup discovered one of the soft toys. His doting human purchased the toy for the pup. An adorable video posted to the TikTok account @thestingergirl shows the pleased dog carrying his unusual new toy home. Text overlay on the video reads “POV your dog finds a squishmallow at a garage sale and you had to buy it for him.” In the video, the pup can be seen carrying the Squishmallow while happily looking back towards the camera. 

The adorable video has been liked over 44,000 times on TikTok. Viewers on the social media platform loved the dog’s unusual taste in toys. “Happiest dog in town…” commented user Slow Motion. Another user, Rogella Snedegar, commented “He’s so proud” to which @thestingergirl replied, “So worth the $5.”
