Many dogs, including Labrador Retrievers, love the water. Indeed, Labs are bred to be excellent swimmers who can fetch ducks and other game birds from the water. However, one Labrador Retriever has taken his love for water to hilarious new heights.

In a video posted to the TikTok account @bustersworld4, the Lab can be seen happily swimming in the family’s home pool. His human can be heard pleading with the Labrador Retriever to get out. A caption on the video reads “Why are you always late for work?”
At one point, Buster seems ready to exit the water and let the human leave. However, that hope is soon dashed as the pup leaps back into the pool.
Viewers loved Buster and his antics in the swimming pool. It is estimated that the video has been viewed more than 4.6 million times. Additionally, many viewers left comments stating that they did not think the poster’s boss would be upset if they knew that the Labrador Retriever was the reason they were late. “Just send this video to your boss. Lol, no one could be mad that you’re late with how cute he is,” said Trixy Sketch.
