Heartwarming Story of Two Puppies Found in Dumpster Who Got a Second Chance at Life

Sage and Aspen are two adorable pups who have a TikTok account with thousands of followers. However, the two puppies started their lives unwanted and were left to die in a dumpster on a cold night. Luckily, their new parent found them and offered them a second chance. Now, the two adorable pups live with their human and two furry older siblings. A recent video posted to their account @theogpups shared their story.

Rea was taking out her trash on a cold night when she made a heart-wrenching discovery. After hearing noises coming from the dumpster, she turned her flashlight on and saw a newborn puppy. Immediately, she leaped into action. After taking the puppy inside to warm up, she returned with her older dog, named Future, to look for the rest of the litter. Future found one other puppy under a bush near the dumpster. Sadly, this second puppy was close to death. The rescuer immediately rushed both puppies to the nearest emergency vet. While the first puppy, who was given the name Sage, was quickly released, the second puppy was kept for around three days as the vets weren’t sure she would make it. 

Amazingly, the second pup, named Aspen, pulled through. According to Rea, Sage and Aspen were happy to be reunited. Now, Sage and Aspen are 8 months old and living the amazing life they deserve!
