This Cat Was Born Without Back Feet, but Is Still Just Like Any Other Kitten

At the ripe age of eight weeks old, a family of kittens were abandoned at a gas station. When a kind human decided to capture the kittens, she noticed just how special this rescue case was … especially for one little female tabby cat later named Liza.

You see, Liza is pretty unique not just because of her adorable kitten face or rockin’ personality, but because of the fact that she was born without either of her back legs. While this disability may sound like a hassle for most of us bipeds who rely on two hind legs to get around, Liza disagrees! In fact, she can run around the house and play with others just the same as any other kitten.

According to her rescuer (via Reddit), “I’ve taken her to the vet and little Liza is completely healthy besides her absent feet. My vet is going to call and talk to the orthopedic surgeon in our area and discuss Liza’s case. As of now, my vet thinks she is doing great and predicts that the only concern as she grows will be keeping her nubs from ulcerating, because she does still use them quite a bit.”

Though not having hind legs technically makes Liza a handicap pet, she sure doesn’t show it! She can stand …

And climb …

And play. What a goofball!

Really, she’s just like any other cat…

But maybe with even more spunk!
