Two dogs, named Erin and Anna, arrived at a Texas animal shelter when they were less than one year old. The Society for Animal Rescue & Adoption, located in Texas, has been the two shelter dogs’ home for the past 14 years. During that time, the two have developed a deep bond.
Now, Erin and Anna are both fifteen. The duo is always together. They eat together, play together, and sleep together. Both of the dogs suffer from arthritis and are quite fearful of people.
Although shelter staff are unsure whether Erin and Anna will manage to find a forever home to spend their senior years in, they are committed to ensuring that the shelter dogs always have a home at SARA. However, the two dogs are still available to be adopted together.
