If you’re looking for a roster of impressive speakers, fantastic exhibits and a couple days worth of hobnobbing with people interested in eating plant-based, then your weekend is pretty much planned already. Isn’t it great when things come to together like that?
Can’t think of a much better way to spend the day.
Hitting the Brooklyn Expo Center on June 20th and 21st 2015, the Seed Experience is bringing all of that and more for the fourth year in a row. With speakers like Rich Roll and Tim VanOrden extolling the virtues of plant-based diets on athletic performance, in addition to directors from animal wonderlands such as Farm Sanctuary, Catskill Animal Sanctuary and Woodstock Farm Animal Sanctuary – there promises to be a ton of expert info on animals, eating and all things awesome at this event. Throw in Captain Paul Watson of Sea Shepherd and Simone Reyes from Russell Simmons’ Def Pictures and you’ve got a pretty complete cast of characters.
If you’re interested in plant-based nutrition, Rich Roll is definitely the man to drop the knowledge.
And that’s just the speakers. The event also promises to be an excellent place to pick up some sustainable sustenance from the laundry list of food exhibitors who’ve signed up this year in order to help spread the message that eating plant-based and living more consciously is delicious, healthy, fun and easy.
This Seed Experience expo is made possible by NYC-based event planning company The Seed, that operates with the mission to, “positively introduce the plant-based lifestyle into today’s mainstream society. Through all our events, we showcase new and existing products and services that improve people’s everyday life.”

Sounds like a pretty great mission to us! If you’re in the New York area the third weekend in June and want to check out what promises to be a pretty rockin’ event for animals, health and the environment, there’ll be no better place to check out. Seriously, the Statue of Liberty is swell and you should totally see it, and you should pretend you’re in a scene from Sleepless in Seattle at the top of the Empire State Building too, that goes without saying, but really – you must trot over to Brooklyn and check this out too. It’ll be like … magic.
