Brilliant Rescuer Saves Mother Dog and Puppies Found Tied in Sack in the Middle of the Road

In Lagoa da Prata, Brazil, animal rescuer Josiane Almeida encountered an unbelievable case of abuse. In the middle of nowhere, she found a sick mother dog and her puppies tied in a bag and clearly dumped in a heartbreaking act of cruelty. Fortunately, the little family was found in time, but it was clear they must have spent a long time in the shocking circumstances. The puppies were dizzy and weak due to lack of air and their ailing mother was bleeding profusely.

Almeida, who shared the video of the abandoned animals, called the case one of the worst abuse scenes she had ever seen.

After a trip to the vet, it was discovered the mother had a cancerous tumor. Her treatment is going to be expensive and her caretakers appreciate all financial help they can get with the expensive chemotherapy.

The mom and her four puppies now live with Josiane and are finally getting the care they need and deserve.

“Before that family were suffocated inside a bag thrown to die, but as God is good, we managed to get them out of suffering! Today they live well with me! Thank you, God for giving me this opportunity!” Josiane writes.

Hopefully, the puppies will all eventually find the best homes possible and their mom’s treatment will be as successful as can be!
