Pigs are some of the most misunderstood animals. People assume that they are dirty and stupid, but nothing could be further from the truth.
Pigs are actually very clean animals that are about as intelligent as a three-year-old human child! Sadly, these animals are usually forced to live in small cages and pumped full of hormones their entire lives in cruel factory farms. Many of them never get to see the sun until the day they board the truck to the slaughterhouse.
Luckily, there are many kind people who think that pigs deserve to live on their own right on farm animal sanctuaries. The little piggies in this video were saved by Catskill Animal Sanctuary and are now getting a taste for life outside of the confines of a factory farm. Based on how happy these piglets look, we think they’re pretty pleased with all of the grass, sunshine and freedom they can now enjoy.
