In the second installment of the BBC Earth Series Extraordinary Animals, pigs are put to the test to measure their intelligence. Similar to the first installment where a dog with mad math skills was tested against a classroom of children, these pigs are also tested against three young children.
In the video below, two pigs are given three tasks to complete, meanwhile three children from ages 18 months to three years old are given the same tasks to compare the intelligence level of both species. The results are pretty amusing and shocking!
It’s amazing how smart pigs actually are and how quickly they are able to learn, even compared to young children. Pigs are in fact one of many super-smart animal species. Not only are these farm animals adorable and personable, but they have the brains as well!
