It is said elephants never forget and have emotions and communication skills far beyond what humans once thought. After watching this super sweet video from Elephant Nature Park in Thailand, we can see that old adage also applies to dogs and boars. This adorable rescued baby boar and dog have not forgotten the kindness of their saviors at the sanctuary, and their open loving characters are proof of that.
Bella the rescued pig was brought to the sanctuary as an orphan, she was barely a day old. Her first best friend, Pugsley the pug, helped her feel right at home with lots of snuggles and kisses. As Bella grew and learned to run and play, she met another lovable rescued pup named Monday, and they became instant best friends! Seeing this best friend pair run around smiling without a care in the world inspires us to seek connections with those different than us rather than only noticing our differences.
Though Elephant Nature Park primarily focuses on rescuing elephants, they have extended their generosity to saving other animals like Bella and Monday. They are always looking for volunteers and donations. Please check out their website to learn more about getting involved with this fantastic organization.
