Little Puppy With Severe Case of Mange and Fleas Is Learning What Kindness Is

This little princess, Kala, was recently pulled from a local shelter by Streetdog Foundation thanks to their friends at Memphis Pets Alive who told them about poor Kala. Covered in Demodex mange, scabs, fleas, and dirt, this poor baby was in need of some serious tender loving care.

Once they transported her to the safety of their vet, Kala was given a medicated bath to start combating her skin condition.

Understandably, Kala is super scared and confused but with sweet people showering her with adoration like in this video, we are confident she will learn what love is.

Kala also has a brother named Koa, who was rescued by Memphis Pets Alive and a mother named Moana. Both organizations are excited for the day when all these sweet dogs can be reunited as a healthy, happy family.

Until then, however, Kala has a lot of recovering to do – including getting surgery for her cherry eye.

Kala, needs all the Support she can, to get her through this rough period in her young life and Streetdog Foundation will continue to do all they can for Kala and other dogs like her.

Streetdog Foundation is a non-profit that rescues, rehabilitates, and re-homes street dogs day in and day out.
