A TikTok video has gone viral after showing one protective Husky’s reaction when someone tried to touch her human’s pregnant belly. In the cute video, the dog is lying with her head on her person’s belly as the unborn baby kicks. When someone tries to touch the belly, the Husky has the best response!

As the dog lays with her head touching her person’s belly, someone is heard asking “Can I have a feel?” as they reach their hand out to feel the baby’s kicks. The protective Husky swats their hand away before blocking the human’s belly with their head. Eventually, though, the pup allows the hand to touch the person’s stomach.
The cute video was met with adoration by TikTok users. One person commented, “The dog keeping the dads hand away that’s THEIR baby”. Another said, “He knows his best friend is in there”. The video of the protective husky also racked up over 684,000 likes.
Although dogs may not know exactly what is going on during pregnancy, they can likely sense changes through shifts in their human’s scent and behavior. This may drive them to be extra cuddly or protective of their pregnant humans.
