The city of Philadelphia has just announced an incredible new program: to replace all horse carriages with electric ones! This will end the outdated, wildly abusive practice in the city for good! Cities around the world are banning horse drawn carriages, and for good reason. Horses do not exist to entertain us. To make matters worse, as urban areas get hotter, a seemingly quick ride in a horse-drawn carriage can literally mean life or death for the animal forced to pull hundreds of pounds around on burning hot asphalt. In fact, horses in multiple cities around the world have died this way already. Philadelphia just proved it is committed to protecting Animal rights! It is time New York City and New Orleans do the same! End the use of horse-drawn carriages and replace them with electric ones! Please sign this petition now to demand New York City and New Orleans follow Philadelphia’s lead and replace all horse carriages with electric carriages!
