Most pet parents are advised to keep their pet rodents in a safe enclosed area away from larger pets, such as cats and dogs. But for these best friends, it’s just all fun and games!
Aria, a Pit Bull, shares a similar colored coat as her guinea pig pal, Red. Red uses this to his advantage by hiding behind Aria’s ears when mom isn’t looking. When mom finds Red, she gives him a nice scratch on the head to which he gives his squeal of approval.
While Red’s complete trust in Aria shows bravery (how can such a little animal be so comfortable around a large dog?), it’s Aria who we should be looking at. Pit bulls are often generalized as a breed and persecuted for being overly aggressive and even “dangerous” to others.
If this video shows us anything, it’s that this is simply not the case. The behavior of dogs, Pit Bull or not, is dependent on multiple factors … the main one being how a pet parent treats their four-legged friend. Treat your pets right and we guarantee that they’ll be just as sweet and patient as Aria!
