Meet Piki. This poor little fella was found lying in the park in Romania, unable to move because of a broken leg. Without help, this poor little dog may not have made it, but luckily the Howl Of The Dog rescue was there to save the day.
At first, poor Piki was shy and nervous about all of the attention he was receiving. However, dogs are incredibly resilient animals and soon, after three weeks in an orthopedic cast, this pup was a good as new, romping in the yard with the big dogs!
Howl of the Dog is an animal rescue committed to helping Romania’s street dogs. They target animals that are injured, neglected or abused, giving them all that they need to recover so that they can find a loving forever home. Howl of the Dog is also committed to a number of community outreach programs including pulling dogs from high kills shelters and supporting a number of spay/neuter programs.
