Thanks to the Rescue and Freedom Project, an organization dedicated to giving former lab animals a better life, five dogs have been rescued and given a second chance at life.
Two of the dogs, a lab and a husky, also suffered from chemical burns and paralysis. and were found on the street as strays. The three other dogs were beagles who were used for horrific animal testing and then put on a slaughter truck to become meat. Thankfully, all the dogs were rescued just in time and are now in the U.S., ready to start their new lives.
In total, ten dogs were rescued and the additional five dogs are set to arrive in the U.S. this week. The rescue joins other U.S.-based rescue groups who are taking on dogs headed to slaughter for human consumption in both China and South Korea.

There are many groups working in dog meat hotspots such as China and South Korea to save dogs from horrific conditions. Thanks to groups in the U.S. like Rescue and Freedom, these dogs now have a shot at finding loving homes that will provide them with safety, love, and medical care. You can help by opening your home and your heart to one of these deserving dogs or by making a donation.
The Rescue and Freedom Project is dedicated to rescuing survivors from instances of unique captivity and cruelty, telling their emotionally compelling stories to prompt social change, and then rehabilitating them so they can go on to live the lives they deserve. Regardless of the condition, the location, or the expense, the Rescue and Freedom Project is committed to saving as many innocent animals as possible.

Great to hear this good news, but there are just too many horrible people that should be eliminated to proactively protect their potential victims. We need to change morality to maximize the good.
