Stray Dog With Tight, Painful Wire Tied Around His Stomach Gets Help (VIDEO)

Thank goodness Dako has some compassionate friends in his corner! A kind man named Mr. Bhagwant and his son had been feeding and caring for this sweet boy when they noticed something different – they discovered a tight wire around his waist. When they had trouble removing it, they knew exactly who to call. Guardians of the Voiceless of course!

Unfortunately, when the Guardians arrived, Dako was in so much pain, he was hiding under a car and had no intention of coming out. After a lot of patience and kindness, they were able to get him from under the vehicle, remove the spikey wire, and free poor Dako.

Check out that wire! We can’t imagine how painful that experience was but thanks to Dako’s loving friends, he is recovering and will be back to his normal self soon. People like Mr. Bhagwant and his son give us hope for better treatment of animals in India and make the Guardians’ mission a little bit easier.

Guardians of the Voiceless is a non-profit that provides wounded street animals with medical care, sterilization, and continuing care. They also work to find foster homes or adopt the dogs out. When this is not an option, the dogs are released back to the area they were found – in much better condition. The organization also aims to promote a sense of kindness and responsibility towards animals through holistic education to upcoming generations. They teach children compassion for animals and why it’s important to respect and care for all living beings.
