Unleashed Pet Rescue and Adoption, an organization based in Mission, Kansas, just saved the life of Remo, a little dog who had been victim to an extreme case of neglect. Upon being rescued, Remo was in such bad and unbearable to watch condition that veterinarians recommended he be put down – recovery seemed an impossibility. But, amazingly, this little pup now seems to be doing everything to prove that theory wrong.
Remo is nothing short of incredibly lucky to be still alive. At the place he lived, the dog was left completely to himself outside of the house, shut off in a tiny pen, apparently not tended by anyone. He was surrounded by dirt and feces – for months, during heat and rain.
When the rescue team got to him, Remo’s fur was so matted he could hardly move and his eyes were matted shut. Once he was taken to the exam room to be shaved, he collapsed and the rescuers noticed that “his skin was literally crawling from inside.”
Remo’s chances of survival have now risen to 50/50 – which is something incredible considering the absolutely miserable state the dog was in and the extreme neglect he had been subjected to.
The pup’s rescuers are determined to fight for his life and do everything to save it – no matter what the odds are. “The vets cautioned us not to be too hopeful, but hope is the only thing we have,” the rescuers write. “They warned that we could spend thousands and he could die anyway but who are we to put a price on his life. He deserves to know that not all humans are bad. We love him.”
The organization will be grateful for all donations towards Remo’s emergency medical care – you can Donate via the rescue’s website.

HOPE REMO THE GREAT DOG RECOVERS NOW. WHO LET HIM GET THIS WAY NOW.
I say let the people who did that to him spend a few weeks at least "living" like Reno was forced to do. It is hard for an dog so live like that but for one so small it is heinous they left him like that.he will bring joy to some person/people who will appreciate him.Speedy recovery I hope for this guy.
