7. Success! South Korea Banning Dog Meat Industry!

The South Korean government has announced its intention to introduce a bill to ban the dog meat industry by the end of 2023. The decision was confirmed during a meeting in Seoul, involving key stakeholders such as the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, representatives of the ruling Peoples Power Party, and Korean animal groups, including Humane Society International/Korea (HSI/Korea).
