Some people go through great lengths to keep squirrels out of their yards, preferring to watch birds instead. But Englishman Steve Barley decided to embrace the little rodents and transform his backyard into an elaborate obstacle course for squirrels, with three different paths to enter and race for a reward. Might as well make them work for that birdseed!

At first, Barley is unsure whether any squirrels will accept the challenge, but once they do, it’s non-stop fun. Watch these squirrels survey the course, then jump, creep, and climb through trellises, clothesline, mesh, and more until they get their well-deserved prize. These squirrels are pretty quick. We already know of their appetite for birdseed, but who knew they could be so clever?

This isn’t Barley’s first squirrel obstacle course, but it looks like the most involved. Check out his YouTube channel to see his earlier projects, plus a few cute videos of his dog Millie.
