1. Abandoned Husky Puppies Adopted After CCTV Footage Reveals Heartbreaking Moment

Two Husky puppies were unceremoniously dumped in the play area of the Jackson County Animal Shelter by a woman driving a blue pickup truck. The abandoned puppies were severely malnourished and suffering from parasites. The puppies were only six months old but weighed less than half of what is considered a healthy weight. The Husky puppies’ former caretaker was located after CCTV footage was posted to the shelter’s Facebook page. The person confessed to neglecting the Huskies while the puppies were under their care.

Steven Verren Baker, who was previously convicted of smuggling protected turtles between the United States and Hong Kong, is now facing a fresh set of allegations related to turtle-related crimes. The shocking discovery of mistreated turtles in his possession led to his arrest and subsequent charges of aggravated cruelty to animals.

6. Netflix’s New Show is All About Baby Animals

Netflix discreetly introduced a program that might just reshape the future of reality television and broadcast media in the wake of the SAG and WGA strikes. This show, seemingly barely noticed by the general public, is none other than “Baby Animal Cam.” So what is Baby Animal Cam? 8. New Report Shows Shocking Water Pollution Due to PFAs from U.S Military Bases

A recent report issued by the U.S. Department of Defense reveals the shocking number of military bases that are polluting, or threatening to pollute, drinking water. The report shows that at least 245 United States military bases are releasing plumes of PFAs that are contaminating or on the verge of contaminating the water of communities located near the bases. Additionally, 455 military bases are themselves contaminated by PFAs.
