The clip shared by @thefinneganbleu shows Finnegan patiently waiting on the bed until his human approaches with a basket full of clean laundry fresh from the dryer. The Pawrent dumps the clean laundry on the bed, and Finnegan dives into the pile and starts wagging his tail.

“He’ll be here till it goes cold.” the caption of the video read.

TikTokers couldn’t get enough of this adorable pup and his love for warm laundry and the clip has now been viewed over 411,000 views.

Dogs love lying in warm laundry because it provides them with a cozy and comforting spot to rest. The warmth from the freshly laundered clothes or blankets is similar to the heat they would feel from snuggling up to their littermates or their mother when they were puppies. It’s a natural instinct for dogs to seek out warmth and comfort, and warm laundry provides them with a safe and familiar spot to relax.

In addition, the scent of their owners on the laundry may also be comforting to dogs. Dogs rely heavily on their sense of smell to interpret the world around them, and the familiar scent of their owner can provide a sense of security and calmness.

One user commented,”Warm laundry is the ultimate dachshund fantasy.”

“Our Doberman used to love napping in our pile of clean laundry,” another wrote.

“Buy that dog a heated blanket immediately.” a user added.
