Doesn’t it seem like animals are always happy? No matter the time of day or weather, the animals we share our homes with are always content and smiling. Well, turns out that dogs and cats aren’t the only animals with a naturally happy disposition. Just take a look at the cow and pig in this video!
Miguel the pig and Salvador the cow were both rescued from life in the animal agriculture industry and brought to Igualdad Interspecies Animal Sanctuary. At their new sanctuary home, they became fast friends, and based on this video of them enjoying a lazy day at the sanctuary, we can certainly understand why this pair seems so incredibly happy.
With the freedom to roam around their lush sanctuary home and enjoy the company of other animals and humans, they have no reason to be anything less than all smiles!
Unfortunately, many animals just like Salvador and Miguel don’t get this chance and are treated like commodities, rather than living, breathing creatures. We could all stand to learn a lesson in compassion from the rescued animals in this video. All animals deserve the chance to be happy and free.
