Cat Returned to Shelter Is Determined to Get Adopted, Takes Matters into Her Own Paws

A cat named Monique was quite excited to be adopted. However, unfortunately, she was not a good fit in her new home and was returned to the Adoption Chats Sans Abri rescue. Determined to find another home, the one-eyed cat took matters into her own paws.

Monique from our shelter, really really wants to get adopted.

In a video posted to the subReddit thread r/aww, Monique can be seen pawing at a glass window. The window looks out from the rescue onto the street. It appears almost as if she is waving at passersby, trying to draw their attention.

Monique the cat had already had a difficult life before her failed adoption. After the cat was brought to the rescue, she had to have one of her eyes removed due to an infection. However, many people on Reddit think that this makes the cat even cuter. User mama_oso wrote, “Looks like Monique is a beautiful pirate – who doesn’t want to live with a beautiful pirate?”
