No matter what the species, size or shape, when there is an animal who is in desperate need of our help, we are willing to go to any length to save their lives. This is exactly the mindset that the people at the Cleveland Animal League had when they came across a tiny abandoned Pit Bull puppy who was too young to survive without a mother.
While they were not sure exactly what the best course of action would be, they thought to introduce the small dog to a mother cat who had just given birth to a litter of kittens. Their hope was that the mama cat would accept the puppy as her own … and just like that, she did! To the mother cat, there is no difference between her small kittens and this puppy – they all need her, and she is happy to oblige. Love knows no bounds of species. Doesn’t it just warm your heart!
