How does a Grammy-award winning superstar get ready to headline music and arts festival, Coachella, this coming April? You eat vegan! Just ask Beyoncé, who recently shared on her Instagram that she is going to follow a vegan diet to prepare for the show – and she wants her fans to join her.

“We want to challenge you as we challenge ourselves to move towards a more plant-based lifestyle and acknowledge you for standing up for your health and the health of the planet,” Beyoncé and Jay-Z state on The 22 Days Challenge website.
While Beyoncé’s decision to eat plant-based in preparation for Coachella seems to be temporary, we can’t help but think of the countless people that are now exposed to the benefits of vegan eating thanks to the influential star. A whole food vegan diet has repeatedly been linked to better heart health, prevention of diabetes, and cancer, and more. Plus, considering the immense toll the animal agriculture industry is taking on our planet, including rampant air and water pollution, land degradation, deforestation, and pushing countless species to the brink of extinction, we are thrilled to see celebrities using their platform for good!

This fur hag cannot be trusted. Even during her last claim to be "vegan" she went to a vegan restaurant wearing animal skin. And the comments she made after the 22 days were up the last time were disgusting. People claimed lots of people would follow her into veganism last time. I\’m holding my breath. Do not support this hag.
Since when has being vegan become so diluted that you can nip in and out of it on a whim and also exploit animals by wearing their skins and products that have been tested on them? Time to take back our word and restore it to it\’s true definition.
This going Vegan should not be for a few weeks or months. It should be a lifelong commitment. Finally to live healthy and guilt free life, while committing to support the welfare of other living beings on the planet. Murder of poor innocent animals WHO DOES NOT WANT TO DIE, is itself a crime against the planet earth. ANIMALS ARE NOT HUMANS FOOD. They are a different species than the humans. That\’s all.
Thank you, Beyonce! Ending the meat industry holocaust should be at the top of every good person\’s to-do list.
