8 Times Vegan Powerhouse Ariana Grande Said Something Completely Awesome
From Nickelodeon star to two-time Grammy nominee, Ariana Grande is taking the world by storm. In 2013 the “Bang, Bang” singer won both an American Music Award for New Artist of the Year and a People’s Choice Award for favorite breakout artist, proving that since her Sam and Cat days she’s become a force to be reckoned with!
Her impressive professional accomplishments notwithstanding, we’re kinda obsessed with Ms. Grande for an entirely different reason. As it turns out, she’s a major animal lover and vegan. Not afraid to share her opinions about plant-based eating and Animal rights with the world, the pint-sized star has taken to social media to blast Sea World, gush over her dogs (she has four!) and celebrate her compassionate lifestyle.
With over 20 million followers on both Twitter and Instagram, she has quite the audience to share such an incredible message with. PETA2’s Sexiest Vegetarian of 2014 (Andy Hurley of Fall Out Boy took the title for the guys) is an animal activist for the next generation and an awesome Green Monster! Don’t believe us? Here’s just a few quotes that prove Ariana Grande is a fierce friend for animals.
After Sea World posted a picture of an angry looking penguin lamenting the fact that it was Monday, Ariana responded with this little piece of magic.
When explaining why she went vegan after watching Forks Over Knives, well, she didn’t mince words.
Twitter isn’t her only sounding board for her cruelty-free message. Her Instagram is filled with pictures of her with her best furry friends and even some lucky sweeties at the PreetiRang Sanctuary!
She was so excited to transition to a vegan diet that she couldn’t wait to announce it to the world.
She also called upon her Twitter followers to stand up for elephants by putting an end to ivory poaching.
She has four dogs, all of which are adopted. She’s an outspoken advocate for rescuing animals in need instead of buying a dog from a store.
She’s not at all shy about extolling the virtues of eating plant-based.

she\’s vegan and works with MAC. MAC who tests on animals? Doesn\’t that seem to be a big contradiction to you?
well being raw vegan is not healthy.
and that\’s the reason she is so skinny she is only 100 pounds.
It\’s not explicitly because she\’s "vegan", its because all of the unhealthy stuff she used to eat and that gets sold and shoved in our faces every day happens to contain animal products. Being vegan eliminates a lot of those naturally, because you can\’t eat them. I\’m sure she would still eat more "unhealthy" meals if these did not contain animal products.
We evolved on a RAW VEGAN diet… it is THE HEALTHIEST
DIET…………..PERIOD…….
She is fine. She is petite and slim and absolutely gorgeous. Just your sense of proportion is out of whack. This is what petite ladies should look like and weigh.
She actually has 5 dogs now. She recently adopted Cinnamon :)
