Texas Mass Murderer, Salvador Ramos, ‘Loved Hurting Animals’ According to Classmates

Robb Elementary School in Uvalde Texas

The 18-year-old mass murderer who killed 21 people in Uvalde, Texas, last week ‘loved hurting animals’ according to his classmates from Uvalde High School.

The shooter, Salvador Ramos, has been claimed to be a bully who provoked others in the school to pick fights and was even seen hurting dogs. “He would hurt animals and he was not a good person,” classmate Ivan Arellano told WFAA.

One of his classmates told the Daily Beast, “He would try and call people names and start fights,” he said. “I remember there was one time we saw him beating a little dog senseless.”

Others said that Ramos would brag about torturing animals and even live-streamed one of his acts of animal abuse on Yubo, a French live streaming platform. A Yubo user told ABC News that Ramos would “put cats in plastic bags, suspend them inside, throw them at the ground and throw them at people’s houses.” They also claim that Ramos would show all of these videos whole laughing and bragging about how he and his friends “did it all the time” like it was no big deal.

In a statement, a spokesperson from Yubo said, “Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with the families of the victims of the tragic shooting in Uvalde, Texas. Due to privacy regulations, we are not able to release specific user information outside of direct requests from law enforcement.”

His Yubo account was reported numerous times, but after a temporary ban, was allowed back on the platform.

Hannah, 18, told CNN that she had reported Ramos’ Yubo account after during a live stream, he threatened to shoot up her school, and rape and kill her and her mother.

Continuing to stack on the horrifying allegations against Ramos, close classmates also claim that he threatened women with sexual violence and threatened to rape and murder 19-year-old Amanda Robbins after she rejected his sexual advances, CNN reported.

On May 24th, Ramos shot his grandmother in the face before driving to Robb Elementary School where he murdered 19 children and two adults with a legally purchased assault rifle. He was killed by Border Patrol agents.

Before the events, Ramos sent three messages on Facebook, the first saying, “I’m going to shoot my grandmother.” followed by “I shot my grandmother.” and finally, “I’m going to shoot an elementary school.”

Ramos had many serious issues, and there were so many signs pointing to his mental instability. All of his actions and animal abuse are never ok! If you see or know of anyone abusing animals, it should be reported immediately. Numerous killers have what experts call the Macdonald triad, which links cruelty to animals, obsession with fire-setting, and persistent bedwetting to violent behaviors, particularly homicidal behavior and sexually predatory behavior. Anyone that you see inflicting pain on animals or others, please report them immediately.

  1. When hurting animals is legal. Does that count, too? It’s legal in the farming industry, the medical research industry, the guns and hunting industries, the fashion industry, the sporting industry, the wildlife “management” industry, the military/industrial complex industry–just naming a few where hurting, terrorizing and killing other-than-human animals is legal and socially acceptable. It’s been normalized and kept invisible in order to safeguard profits and human benefit and pleasure. Even organized religion–like the Catholic Church, for instance–turns a blind eye to systemic animal abuse based on anthropocentric dogma. Only when humans are harmed does the Pope wake up. Teaching our kids that animals DO matter morally and that respect and compassion should not be limited to one species, is a better way to go.
