The U.S. government has allegedly treated marijuana, a natural plant used for chronic pain, seizures, PTSD, and chemotherapy side effects, as equally dangerous as heroin for decades under Schedule I classification. Attorney General Todd Blanche recently moved to reclassify it as Schedule III, a meaningful step forward. Please Sign the petition now and demand full decriminalization too. Between 2001 and 2010, over 8 million marijuana arrests occurred, disproportionately targeting Black Americans at 3.73 times the arrest rate of white Americans.

The racist War on Drugs destroyed families and bloated prison populations. Reclassification alone is not enough. The government must commute sentences and expunge records for nonviolent marijuana convictions. Add your name at Sign the petition now because justice requires more than a scheduling change.
