Sometimes, the most unlikely of pairs make the best friendships. With Valentine’s Day coming up, what better pairing then a interspecies friendship. In the video below, check out a compilation of the surprising bonds between cats and guinea pigs.

An odd partnership considering you would think the guinea pig might be a meal for a cat or just a big toy for them to swat around with their claws. However, these cats and guinea pigs get along wonderfully! In fact, their relationships are exceptionally cute!

Some of the cats even help clean the guinea pigs as they cuddle together in a cozy spot. The adorable video below is just another reminder that friendship, human or animal, can always pop up between the most bizarre of pairings.
