While stereotypes tell us that dogs and cats do not get along, one TikTok video is proving otherwise. The video depicts the friendship between three dogs and their neighbor’s cat. Adorably, the dogs appear to have wholeheartedly embraced the visiting feline.

The TikTok video was posted by the account @talesofthreetails. It is captioned, “My dogs are living proof friendship between cats and dogs exist”. Viewers loved the adorable clip, which shows two Golden Retrievers and a German Shepherd nuzzling and snuggling with a cat. The three large dogs are so careful with the cat, who is their neighbor. 

The video quickly racked up both the views and comments. Many TikTok users pointed out that the German Shepherd in particular seemed to love the little cat. Others shared how their dogs have made friends with a cat. Currently, the video has over 67,000 views.

Although dogs and cats can get along, it is important to introduce them slowly and carefully. It is always important to supervise initial interactions to ensure that all of the animals remain safe. Reassure both the dog and cat, and reward them for positive interactions.
