Nearly 200 rhinos have already been killed by poachers in South Africa in 2025. That’s 195 lives lost this year alone—an appalling toll on a species already at risk of extinction. While the number is slightly lower than last year, every death pushes these animals closer to the brink.

This is not just a local problem. Poached rhinos are trafficked internationally, meaning global action is essential. The United Nations Development Programme must dedicate resources to anti-poaching efforts now. South Africa’s Rhino Renaissance initiative shows commitment, but the country cannot shoulder this fight alone.

A century ago, white rhinos were almost wiped out—but careful Conservation saved them. We can do it again. Sign the petition now to demand urgent global Support to stop poaching and protect rhinos before it’s too late.
