Last month, a speeding vessel struck a 20-year-old male North Atlantic right whale, which caused “catastrophic blunt force trauma” and ultimately his death. With only 340 right whales left, we must do everything that we can to make sure more of them don’t suffer similar fates. Sadly, fishing gear, vessel collisions, and Climate change are the primary threat to this critically endangered species. That means humans need to take accountability for this problem and do something to correct it. Please sign this petition to demand that the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration create strict speed limits for vessels!
