Petition: Ban This Pennsylvania Couple From Owning Animals

In Pennsylvania, a couple allegedly ignored extreme cold warnings and left three dogs tied outside in single digit Fahrenheit temperatures, around minus 15 Celsius. One was a mama dog. Inside, seven puppies were reportedly crammed into a crate, separated from their mother. Five puppies died after being denied the warmth and milk they needed, and authorities said there was no proper shelter, food, or water outside. Officers also described the adult dogs as very skinny, with bones showing through.

The couple has been arrested and charged with more than 30 felony counts of animal abuse. But even if a court case takes time, animals need protection now, not later.
