Math Problems are Easy for this Adorable Dog!

A Mini Cockapoo is stunning TikTok users by solving math problems. Dogs are remarkably intelligent creatures. Thought to be the first domesticated animals, their quick thinking and problem-solving skills are amazing. These skills are evidenced by the math whiz pup. Her name is Luna, and admiring viewers can see her math skills showcased on her dedicated TikTok account @lunatheminicockapoo.

One video on the account shows Luna solving several math problems. However, it is the Mini Cockapoo’s adorable face that won viewers over. The text overlay on the video reads “Math with my dog”. Luna’s human first asks her what nine minus three is. The pup stares into space, appearing to work out the problem. She then taps her person’s shoulder six times, providing the correct answer.

Next, Luna’s person wants her to solve six minus two. The mathematician dog again stares into space, making the same expression. She paws her human’s shoulder four times. Right again!

Now for addition! The human asks Luna what five plus four is. Pausing again to think, she eventually delivers the correct answer. By tapping her person nine times, Luna shows off her adding skills. 

Although it is unclear if dogs are truly able to solve math problems, the video gained a lot of attention on social media. It has been watched more than 31 million times since it was posted. Additionally, Luna the math whiz pup has gained over 3.7 million likes on this video alone.
