Dogs develop deep bonds with their humans. So, it is understandably heartbreaking for them to be separated from their favorite people. Even when the separation is temporary, it can cause confusion and concern for the pup. Recently, a heartbreaking video showed one dog’s reaction when her human had to leave for a work placement for three months.
@sghindle PSA I left for a 3 month placement and couldn’t take her with me, I’m home with her now !!!!
In the TikTok video, a black Boxer and Labrador Retriever mix can be seen standing outside her human’s door, patiently waiting for them to emerge. However, the dog’s human was on a three-month-long placement and had left the dog in the care of her father and brother while she was gone. Although it was a difficult decision not to take the dog, her person knows that she struggles to adjust to new places and wants her to stay somewhere she is safe and comfortable. The duo has since been reunited.
Viewers were left emotionally distraught by the heartbreaking video. One TikTok user wrote, “I can’t be crying at 5:30 am to this I have things to do today.” Another user said, “Oh my god I cannot COPE with this.”
