A hilarious video of a guilty golden retriever has tickled the hearts of millions of viewers worldwide. In a TikTok posted on July 6th by @maddypuak, online spectators can witness a messy trail behind her four-legged friend. As she walks through her house, tubes of toothpaste, ripped-up paper, and pieces of her sofa can be seen strewn about. But, that is not the funniest part.

As the camera pans across the messy scene, it lands on her pup who is seen sitting on a dog bench with a big smile across their face. In the background, you can hear the poster say, “I have a suspicion it might have been this golden retriever”. In the scene, you can see another golden retriever and their owner saying, “This one’s not acting guilty. It’s something about this one though, that I think she might have done it.” Luckily, the caption reads, “immediately forgiven.”

With over 14 million views and nearly 3 million likes it is safe to say that commenters are obsessed with the four-legged friend — even if they are guilty.
