TikTok is swooning over an adorable feline duo from Oklahoma, who appear to be co-parenting their litters, charming viewers with their nurturing teamwork. The heartwarming video, shared by TikToker Julie (@juliebug3232), has already racked up over 2.2 million views.

The clip showcases two feline mothers, Cheryl and Squeaky, cozily nestled in a cat carrier, surrounded by a squirming heap of kittens. The two cats are seen licking and caring for each other’s kittens, an enchanting sight rarely captured.

A study published in the Journal of Feline Medicine and Surgery emphasizes that fostering kittens from another mother cat is most successful if the cats are related and the transition occurs within a week after birth. This sweet duo seems to tick all the boxes, as they provide nourishment and care to the kittens.

According to Julie, the cats take turns caring for the kittens, reinforcing the idea of teamwork. “These are the first litters I’ve ever had that have played nice and have actually worked together to take care of these babies. It is absolutely amazing to watch…they’re adorable,” she notes in the video.
