Refreshing and tasty!
I tried the Vanilla Almondilla flavor and really felt good to know that I can supplement my diet (especially post-workouts) with a Vegan protein shake. Last time I tried it with water, but I would really like to try it with soy milk next time because I tend to like creamier drinks. Thanks One Green Planet for always making me aware of these wonderful products! I have so much to choose from!
Vega Choc- a-lot
We really loved the Choc-a-lot energizing smoothie. My husband doesnt like smoothies much, so i made a ton of protein balls with the choc-a-lot, dates and coconut flakes. Some added cocoa powder in some. Since this summer we are loving chocolate, these protein balls were a hot especially on hikes !
So easy!
I received the Choc-a-lot and love it! It's so easy to mix and have on the go...I'll definitely have my family send me more as I just moved to South Korea and this will be a great way to keep me moving!
Even better than its predecessor
First of all, I want to thank One Green Planet and Vega for doing this contest and selecting me as a winner.
I decided on the Vanilla Almondilla, which was my favorite Vega Shake & Go Smoothie flavor (it's vanilla with a hint of almond; reminds me of an amaretti cookie). Now that the product has been revamped into Vega Energizing Smoothie, I love it even more. It's smoother, mixes better and is less green in both color and flavor. It no longer has an after taste. I'd recommend this to just about anyone.
Thanks again!
Yummy and Easy
I love Vega products. I mostly use the Chocolate powder but I received the Vanilla Almondilla from the giveaway. This flavor is quite subtle, making it a great neutral addition to a fruit and greens smoothie. The vanilla doesn't overpower the smoothie but adds some nice sweetness. I love that these Vega products are soy free and sugar free. Some of them have too much Stevia for my taste, so I add a pinch of celtic salt and some other fruit/veg into the blender to even out the sweetness.
I rarely drink these straight (meaning just mixed with almond milk or water) because the stevia-sweet thinness doesn't suit me. But I love adding a scoop into my superfood smoothies for the extra protein and greens boost. I highly recommend these products. Much less chalky than any other vegan protein powder I've tried.
Thanks again for the free bag!
