Trump Administration Wants to Kill America’s Wild Mustangs – Sign Petition to Stop This!

The Trump administration has been under deserved scrutiny for their neglect of preserving our nation’s public lands and environment, so much so that Pope Francis gifted Trump his 2015 encyclical that urges for the drastic decrease in fossil fuel usage.

The U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI) recently released its Fiscal Year 2018 Budget that seeks approval from Congress to let the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) conduct mass killings and slaughters of America’s federally-protected wild horses and burros, including the iconic Wild Mustang.

As a legendary symbol of the Wild West and the epitome of the American free spirit, the American Mustang deserves its right to live freely on our public lands.

A petition on Care2 states that the Trump Administration says there are too many wild horses, and although birth control methods could be used if this was indeed a serious problem, the Administration has opted to kill these horses instead, clear land for wealthy ranchers, and sell the horse meat to countries around the world.
