If you put a cow and a dog next to one another, most people would tell you that these animals are completely different. From a physical standpoint, sure a dog and cow look nothing alike, but they do share many things in common when it comes to their intelligence and emotional abilities. Like dogs, cows get stressed when they are separated from their best friends. Anyone who has listened to their dog barking when they leave for work in the morning knows this all too well. Cows also love spending time cuddling with people and they can even learn their names and come when called.
See, not so different after all! Just look at the cows and the Dalmatian in this video. They might be a different species, but they seem to recognize that the other wants to say hello and even run around and play a bit. When we strip away our preconceived notions about animals, we find that they all share the same desire to enjoy life and live free from harm and suffering – just the same as humans.
