Watch This Community Come Together to Save Dog Who Was Badly Injured (VIDEO)

This gentle dog was very fortunate to be found by a kind person just in time.

Rescuers from Guardians of the Voiceless were on their way to feed a few stray animals in the area when they were approached by a local who asked for their number – as they had seen a dog in need of help but lost track of him. A mere 10 minutes later they received the call and discovered the man had located the pup and gently secured him to a tree until they could come.

The Guardians rushed over and met Ditto, a beautiful dog with who turned out to be seriously injured.

Ditto had a wound on his head, so large and obviously painful it was difficult to see. He was trying desperately to scare away the flies that were bothering him and swarming over the injury. Although in much pain, the dog was very calm and patiently let the rescuers treat his wound, which was badly infected. Ditto was very lucky to be helped by the kind people around him – had he been left without medical care a little longer, he would have probably lost his eye. As it is, the dog’s wound was treated, he was given the appropriate medication, and will receive further treatment every day until he finally heals completely and can begin a new life.
