When disaster strikes, the first thing we do is make sure that all our loved ones are safe and out of harm’s way. In the case of human friends and family members, it can be as simple as sending a text or making a phone call, but for our animal friends, this isn’t the case. Although we try our best to keep our beloved dogs and cats protected in disaster situations, sometimes we just can’t account for everything. Unfortunately for the cat in this video, it appears that this was the case.
Part of central Italy recently experienced an earthquake that managed to level a number of towns, leaving hundreds of people without homes. This cat was a sad victim of the wreckage and found himself trapped under rubble for 16 days!
Luckily, thanks to an incredibly dedicated rescue team, this little feline has been saved! We certainly hope that this kitty is not home safe and sound, back in the arms of his family!
