Humans aren’t the only ones who deal with weight issues. Cats can put on the pounds, as well – like King Leo, the star of this video.
King Leo is a 10 year-old Maine Coone mix who weighs in at just over 23 pounds. In cat weight, this is pretty hefty. In fact, one of the caretakers in the video says he’s the biggest cat of his size frame that she’s ever seen.
King Leo was rescued from the side of the road in Tennessee and taken to The Cat Shoppe Rescue. His fur was so matted that the caretakers ended up shaving off more than two pounds of it. After the hair cut came the weight loss plan. King Leo is exercising via underwater treadmill and his caretakers are monitoring his caloric intake. This cat will be back to a healthy weight in no time!
